• When you come for class, please park on one of the side streets
• We will be doing pool dives 4 & 5 where you practice the skills learned about in the on-line portion of the course or from the DVD and book.
• There will be a lunch break – bring a lunch, or pick something up at nearby Subway/Brown’s Chicken/7-11
• Classroom learners will review Knowledge Reviews 4 & 5 and take a short quiz after KR #4, and a test after KR #5
• E-Learners will take a “Quick Review” after the pool dives, and then may leave (around 2pm)
Think about taking the Drysuit Diver Specialty class now! Not only does this count toward your Master Scuba Diver Certification, it will also allow you to complete your open water training dives in a drysuit. You will get 2 certifications in one weekend and increase your diving opportunities.
Be sure to sign up for your Open Water Training Dives and your Advanced Open Water Class!
You can also start your first specialty or Advanced Open Water, or Nitrox class as soon as you finish your open water training dives.
You can also take the Nitrox class (regular or on-line) and do your fourth open water training dive while breathing Nitrox. And get your Nitrox certification at the same time.
To complete your Open Water Diver certification, you will need to complete four Open Water training dives. Complete these dives with Scuba Systems between late-April and late-October.
Outside of these times, or if you are planning a trip, Scuba Systems can help you set up your Open Water training dives in the Caribbean at no additional cost to you. Just ask. You may also rent a regulator with dive computer and a BCD to take with you for your tropical open water training dives.
