Scuba Tune Up at Scuba Systems
2.hours
$60.00 Plus materials
If it has been several months or longer since your last dive, a Scuba Tune-Up is a great way to refresh your skills. Many resorts and cruise ship operators require that you have proof of diving within the past year. If you haven't dived in the past year they will have you do a tune-up dive first. Doing that dive here at Scuba Systems before you go lets you use your vacation time to do the dives you want.
Prior to your Scuba Tune Up:
• Purchase your Scuba Review Workbook at Scuba Systems
• Complete your Scuba Review Workbook
For Your Scuba Tune Up:
• Bring your personal gear (mask, fins, snorkel, boots), a swimsuit and a towel
• You will have the opportunity to review anything in the Scuba Review Workbook that you had trouble with and ask questions of your instructor
• The pool portion of the Tune-Up reviews the skills you learned in your Open Water course. You begin with equipment assembly, review and demonstrate in-water scuba skills and equipment breakdown and rinsing.
• Upon successful completion, you will receive a sticker for your certification card that indicates the date you successfully completed the tune-up.
This is a great time to get a wetsuit, regulator or dive computer for the class and for your upcoming trip.
